The National Autonomous University of Mexico, through the Center for Research on North America, domiciled at Floors 1, 7, 9, and 10 of the Humanities Tower II, University City, Postal Code 04510, Municipality of Coyoacán, Mexico City, is responsible for gathering your personal data, handling them, and protecting and storing them. This is in compliance with Article 12 of the National Autonomous University of Mexico’s Regulation on Transparency, Access to Public Information, and Protection of Personal Data, published in Gaceta UNAM on September 12, 2011, as well as with the Second Transitory Article of the General Law on the Protection of Personal Data in the Possession of Obligated Agencies, published in the Diario Oficial de la Federación (Official Federal Gazette) on January 26, 2017.
Your personal information will be handled according to the attributions laid out in Article 1 of the Charter of the National Autonomous University of Mexico and Article 9 of the General Statute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico with regard to teaching and research.

The aims of that management are:

• State or legal federal jurisdiction

Acceptance of this notice implies that you have provided the personal data voluntarily and that it is your responsibility to ensure the data’s authenticity and timeliness.

We also wish to inform you that the National Autonomous University of Mexico, through the Center for Research on North America, will not transfer your personal data to third parties.
