dc.description.extractAt the end of 2022, it became clear that inflation is persistent in the medium term and that inflationary pressures mainly come from increases in energy, food, and raw material prices, in addition to the bottlenecks in the main international value chains. All these factors originate in geopolitical issues, such as high oil prices compared to those prevailing in 2020, and the war between Russia and the Ukraine, which destabilizes an important raw material producing region and impacts the global industrial supply chain. Of course, today’s inflation can also largely be explained by the health and economic crises the world faced in 2020. P.20
